By using the Summers at LREI registration website, Summerbuilder and registration form, you agree to the collection and use of your information by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you may choose not to use our website or registration form.

In order to provide you with our services, Summers at LREI registration collects two types of information: Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.

Personally Identifiable Information

Personally Identifiable Information refers to information that lets us know the specifics of who you are. You do not have to provide personal information to use our website. We collect such personal information only when you provide it to us during registration for Summers at LREI. Upon registration, you will be asked to provide your contact information (such as your name, postal address, telephone numbers and/or email address) and financial information (such as credit card numbers) in connection with your use of such services.

Contact information is used to respond to your inquiries; to notify you in connection with your request for services; to register you for Summers at LREI; to contact you prior to and during Summers at LREI Registration with relevant information; and to inform you of future Summers at LREI programs that may interest you. You may opt out of having your contact information as part of our mailing list by contacting us at 212-477-5316.

The collection of personal information is only for the purpose of Summers at LREI registration and providing our service to you. We do not sell, trade, or license your personally identifiable information to others. We disclose your personally identifiable information to a third party only for the following reasons:

We may disclose personal information in exceptional circumstances if we believe that we are required to do so (i) by law, (ii) to comply with legal process or governmental requests, (iii) to protect the rights, property, or safety of Summerbuilder, its users or the public.
We collect and transfer personal information to a third party service provider in order to verify and process your credit card and to confirm payment from the card-issuing bank.
When you register for Summers at LREI, we also collect the student's name, date of birth, gender, grade, and require the aforementioned parent or guardian personal information. Users under the age of 18 cannot submit information or use the online registration form. Therefore, Summers at LREI will not accept any registration forms that do not have the parent or guardian section completed.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

Refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. We gather certain information about you based upon your usage of our website in several ways. For example, this information may include the Website's Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") that you just came from, which URL you next go to, what browser you are using, and your IP address. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the Internet, and is done automatically by many websites. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, and to monitor the level of activity on our site.

This Privacy Policy was updated on December 1, 2009. If Summers at LREI makes changes to any terms or conditions of the Privacy Policy, the changes will be posted to this website. Summers at LREI reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Policy at any time, and any changes will become effective immediately upon being posted unless we inform you otherwise.
